May 25, 2020. 😢 On this day, George Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police officer. Sick of the blatant lack of respect for Black life we took to the streets and demanded justice! We showed bravery in the face of turmoil and inspired a new generation of young change-makers. We honored George Floyd by fighting for him and his family, even after he left this earth. His legacy lives on. Rest in power, King. 🕊️ As we remember him on this day, we must also reflect on our current state. Have things gotten better? #BlackLivesMatter
