#50YearsofTitleIX Part 29: Triathlon became Denver’s 18th varsity sport on July 1, 2020, thanks in part to the NCAA Emerging Sport Grant. Barbara Perkins was named the program’s first head coach and the team went on to finish 4th at its first national championship in fall 2021.
