Steve reveals the approach he and director Rian Johnson took towards designing the look of THE LAST JEDI and how they ended up shooting the project on both film and digital cameras. Steve extols the virtue of not letting tech dictate the direction of a film and champions the camera as a data collection machine rather than the look maker itself.
