The tragedy that occurred on the set of Rust is horrific and should have never happened. Film crews should expect their safety to be a first priority. The fact that there were safety concerns on this film that were expressed and never addressed is inexcusable. No one should risk their safety just to work on a movie.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Although we did not know Halyna Hutchins personally, we were deeply affected by her death. We were shocked and it’s taken a long time to process.
