Haris talks about his time at St. Martin’s film school, where he worked hard on story and portrayal, and about the many crucial lessons and takeaways from his time at AFI. He talks about working with his friend Paul Sarossy and how it’s a shame he hasn’t made more movies! Haris speaks about having to have complete trust in that the director you are working with is going to have an impact, so just follow them. We learn that most of Haris’ research is based on still photography– he references a lot of magnum photography of certain times and events.
