In Wednesday's episode, Team Deakins sits down with cinematographer Sean Bobbitt! Sean shares with us all of his misadventures in becoming a director of photography in this episode. We hear about his time working as a freelance cameraman in the news and how it was the adventure he’d always wanted but never expected. Sean tells us how he learned to light, his experience working with Michael Winterbottom on the film Wonderland and shooting Hunger with Steve McQueen. Steve likes to create depth and interest by mixing color temperatures and tends to be informed by directors themselves and by their references.
