⁉️ Did you know people face hunger in every county and congressional district in South Dakota ⁉️ Today, on #WorldHungerDay, we're shining a light on the grave disparities facing our communities by sharing a few statistics about hunger and food insecurity in our state. According to Feeding South Dakota 106,170 people are facing hunger, and of them, 38,780 are children. That's 1 in 9 South Dakotans going hungry, 1 in 6 children experiencing food insecurity and hunger. SFCFC is committed to making a difference, which is why this year we're partnering with Wealthsage Advisors of Raymond James for our No Kid Hungry cause night on June 15th against MapleBrook Soccer Club and are proud to announce that we will be doing a nonperishable food collection for the Sioux Falls School District food pantries.
