Danny Trinh was only 2 years old when his parents fled Vietnam to keep their family safe and give them a better life. Their courageous journey took them to a refugee camp in Malaysia and then to the start of their life in America. Today, his parents own a business in Oakland Chinatown, and Danny is a Workplace Manager at HPE where he finds a strong connection with the company’s values.
Danny has deep admiration for his parents, their courage and resilience. His mother is his hero, inspiring his life and career. At HPE, Danny is involved in the San Jose chapter of the Global Asian Network, and HPE resource groups, committed to global diversity, equity, and inclusion. Danny devotes time outside of work to volunteering. He supports the anti-gang task force in Oakland Chinatown, and he and his daughter have volunteered with the Oakland Improvement Council, among other community contributions.
