#SummerSpotlight with Reese Fry ‘23: This summer I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Simmons laboratory within the neuroscience department at BrownU. In the laboratory we study the biological sonar systems of bats. Our goal is to understand how natural images are created in perception from neural reconstruction of the target scene by the bat’s brain. This opportunity gave me insight into the field of research and gave me hands on experience with experimental processes.
