I was terrified the first time I traveled alone. I didn’t want to at all and I pretty much got ‘left’ to go by myself. And while the situation was nothing close to how it ‘should’ve’ been planned, it pushed me to go out of my comfort zone and navigate situations I would’ve never put myself in.
Fast forward till now and I’ve fallen in love with the independence that solo travel has given, providing me more life experiences and lessons I could’ve ever asked for. But with lifestyle changes, I’ve adjusted out of traveling alone more to traveling with others. And while there’s beauty in both, solo travel has shaped so much of who I am and if you ask me, I would do it over and over again 🖤
