The story of my, now, 89 year old grandpa. From when the video was filmed, it was 5 years since he left everything in America — family, friends, comfort, to move back to Korea alone. My grandpa did this to pursue a business that he’s been wanting for so long. To finally be in control. My time being with my grandpa in Korea left me speechless, but with a full heart. There’s a lot that I’ve uncovered while living with him for some time and while I don’t have all the answers at this very moment to bring him back home, creating this video is the least I can do. I now understand where I got my urge and desire to pursue the nonlinear path. Being with you made so much sense because you’ve done the same. You did everything in your power to turn your dreams into reality, and it just felt right sharing that same feeling with you.
