…and when you also forgot your hiking shoes 🥾 oh, and when you also got stranded on the island by yourself 😅 It was a last minute decision to explore Cat Ba Island when I realized midway into my hike that I wasn’t going to make the last ferry back to the bay. I was DRENCHED in sweat, barely had water, had no service, didn’t have the appropriate gear, had no accommodations booked, let alone not realizing that I was going to hike at all that day.
