Solo traveling in Southeast Asia has been a far fetched dream ever since I got introduced to travel photography. The fact that I can now share these experiences seems unreal because if you told me a year ago that I’d be able to manage traveling through restrictions, language barriers, and the challenges that come with solo traveling, I’m not sure I would’ve had enough courage to take that leap of faith.
You’re not going to have all the answers when you start. Plans change by the hour. You’re going to have to learn how deal with problems as they come. But at the end of it all — it’s almost impossible that you’ll come out the same person. Solo traveling isn’t for everyone but it’s an experience and a lifestyle that’s just simply liberating. So whether it’s solo or not, I hope I’ve encouraged you to take that leap of faith and do something you’ve always wanted to do — not for anyone else, but for you. Safe & happy travels 🖤
