I don't have all the words but if you told me even a year ago that I'd have the opportunity to solo travel in Southeast Asia, I'm not sure I would've been able to believe you. I always got questioned why I was alone and some people even felt 'sorry' for me but honestly, it was my choice and my decision. Solo traveling in Southeast Asia was so so special for me not only because it's shown me that I'm able to survive traveling to new countries alone, but I've also fallen in love with myself. As weird as that sounds, this trip validated that I can be mentally, emotionally, and physically sane being all alone.
I'm approaching 9 months, which is wilddd but with all things considered, I've decided to end it here. A part of me is ready and excited to go back home, but the other is nervous about what's next. Adjusting is only a part of life and as I'm doing my best to live out my last 'solo days' in Korea, all I can be is grateful and mentally prepare myself for what's to come.
2022, thank y...
