One of the most common questions I get asked is if I get lonely traveling by myself. Believe it or not but from personal experience, I don't! I actually crave alone time so much because it's pretty hard for me to find alone time unless I block off 'me' time. I've learned to listen to my needs and make the intention to find alone time or else I feel super trapped! It's been an interesting experience because so many people have told me that they've approached me because I'm all alone. And through traveling, I've actually picked up more introverted tendencies. But maybe that's a part of growing up 🙃 When traveling solo, I make the effort to connect with others through social media, mainly those who share the same interests as me. This helps prevent me from experiencing loneliness and to network with others.
