ABOUT BLAKE: Blake grew up in Maine and prior to getting into fire served 5 years in the Marine Corps as a Helicopter Door Gunner. Taking advantage of his aviation training and experience he now works as a Helicopter Crew-Member on a Helitack Crew in Southern California. Outside of Fire, Blake is an active member within the Veteran community. From running ultra endurance events raising thousands of dollars for different Veteran organizations to providing mentorship to those who need it.
