ABOUT FANNY: I am a fire ecologist based in Belize, Central America, and I like to share my love and vision of fire through photography and videography. I have at heart to show people how to know fire and how to be a friend of fire. There is beauty and life where many see nothing or destruction. FANNY'S PROJECT VISION: Fire is not only about suppression and death. It is also about life and natural processes. With this project I wish to produce a 3-5 minute video that would depict the beauty of tropical fire ecology in Belize, telling the story of fire ecology in landscapes underrepresented in the fire community.
