With two weeks since testing and two weeks to go until the first race weekend, we are very excited for the inaugural FIM Women’s World Circuit Racing Championship! 🏍️💜 FIMLive #WorldWCR has invited 24 women from 19 countries to compete across circuits in Italy, the UK, Portugal, Hungary, and Spain this summer. It aims to create an equal footing with other championships while creating a dedicated, and barrier breaking, space for women in professional racing. On May 16 and 17, the riders, a mix of known names and new emerging talent, took to the Cremona_Circuit track for testing. With all 24 women competing with the same Yamaha YZF-R7 equipment, they began with initial briefings and set-ups before opening the track for free practice sessions.
