The Wrecked! Exhibit in the basement of the Keepers’ House shows artifacts from a 1782 Revolutionary War shipwreck found and preserved by our maritime archaeologists. 📸 In the second photo: Dr. Lee Newsom, a world-renowned paleoethnobotanist, collected samples from a 1782 shipwreck plank at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum while a visitor watches.
