Volunteer boatbuilders Jim Cutter, Mike Donnelly, Steve McMullen, Jon Morris, Ed Richardson, Roland “Stoney” Stonaker, and Gene Veltri worked diligently for months on end to build a Peapod Rowboat. Yesterday, the vessel was moved into our Visitor Center and put on display. Even during the sweltering summer months, they work together as a dedicated team with one goal: helping keep alive the maritime heritage of our Nation’s Oldest Port®. A drawing at our annual Luminary Night event in December will determine the new owner of this watercraft!
