Hear from Chuck Meide, the Museum’s Director of Archaeology, about his recent partnership with the Université des Antilles in the French Caribbean. In October 2021, Meide joined forces on an expedition to the “Junon,” a French frigate warship wreck. Meide was the Co-Director of the first archaeological expedition to this shipwreck, having explored it 24 years ago. The vessel’s identity was unknown back then but recently discovered.
