It’s been 3 years since the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum was awarded accreditation from the aamersofficial. The Museum earned this distinct honor “for its demonstration of the highest professional standards for education, public service and collections stewardship, and its commitment to continued institutional improvement.” Only 3% of Museums across the United States have received accreditation through the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), and we are beyond proud to be one of them. We thank every visitor, member, donor, volunteer, staff, and board member who has walked through our doors since opening full time in 1994.
