It’s #FeatureFriday, and this past Monday, the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum partnered with growers_alliance_coffee who provided coffee for our National Heritage Area event. Their mission is to build a better world by supplying some of the finest fair trade, low acid, all pesticide-free coffee from all around the planet, and let me tell you, it’s AMAZING! ☕☕ The Growers Alliance fund has been working on several projects, including starting a 16-station dialysis clinic in Naivasha, Kenya, and the digging of clean water artesian wells (boreholes) in Gachuriri and Kiandegwa villages, Embu. Additionally, they’re upgrading school buildings and providing growers with educational workshops on modern and sustainable farming methods.
