Remaining focussed on the task ahead isn't always easy when there are so many distractions around us. Think about the last time you had one hour of uninterrupted focus on just one task? Despite F1 being a physically demanding sport, sitting behind the wheel for 90-120 minutes also requires a lot of mental strength and focus. So, here are my top tips to help you remain focused on the task ahead: 1. Practising meditation can help with concentration and enables you to remain present during the task 2. Visualise your end goal; whether that's winning a race, handing in a piece of work or rewarding yourself once you're finished 3. Split up your task into short-term and long-term goals. For example, your short-term goal might be to come top 3 in the race, but the overall objective is to finish in the top 5 at the end of the season MITRAINR program also offer meditation sessions to help train your mind.
