Stepping foot into a gym for the first time can be a stressful experience for many people. Whether you're at the beginning of your fitness journey or you've taken some time off, the first few times heading back to the gym can be nerve-wracking.
Gyms are a place where everyone should feel welcome with no judgement from those training around them but there are also a few tips I recommend to help you feel extra confident when visiting the gym:
1. Have a clear plan before going to the gym! Know exactly what your workout will consist of by planning it prior to arriving.
2. Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in, so you can focus on your workout whilst you're there.
3. Put on your headphones and favourite music so you can block out everything else around you and focus on your training session!
