It's vital to remember that there are so many uncontrollable factors in life and all you can do as an individual is focus on those that are within your control. Next time you notice your mood is affected by something, grab a pen and paper and write down what's bothering you, which factors were in your control and which factors were out of your control. Getting it down on paper can help you see the situation a lot more clearly 🖊️
The right mindset is critical in shaping our beliefs, attitude and feelings. It can be disheartening when we don't get our desired outcome, despite feeling like we put everything into a race. Applying the steps above can help reflect on a race in a more measured way.
