This week's #MythBustingwithMichael question is: "Do I have to train every day to achieve my fitness and body goals?" While you would think the more you train the faster you will see results, it doesn't quite work that way. In reality, training too often and not permitting your body the adequate time it needs to recover can cause a range of side effects such as extreme fatigue and hormonal imbalances. Additionally, you will find it more difficult to reach your fitness goals when you overtrain as you struggle to make your workouts impactful or to push yourself. 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏋️‍♂️ The importance of rest and recovery in both muscle gain and weight loss cannot be underestimated! When you allow your body to rest, you allow your nervous system to rebalance and your muscles to repair and rebuild 💪 Comment any nutrition or fitness questions you would like me to answer in my next #MythBustingwithMichael or click the link in my bio to join my coaching programs!
