One of the best ways we can help fight climate change and biodiversity loss is by protecting nature. Today, Minister Wilson and I announced 17 new and expanded protected areas totalling 7,400 hectares (including Cape Mabou Highlands Wilderness Area, picture attached). We also committed to another list of 10 sites, totalling another 7,000 hectares.
