The Spence family in Hants County are amazing stewards of their land. Our department staff, and visitors from all over took part in a day full of tours through a classic Acadian (mixed species, multi aged) forest and experienced many opportunities to learn about wildlife, forest types, harvest methods, soil types and more. Kudos to all private woodland owners who are sustainably managing their woodlots.
