Nearly 60 residents of the nearby Warwick Grove community did just that when they learned how to care for a bleeding wound after a severe injury. Blood loss is a grave concern after injury and severe bleeds can occur as the result of accidents in the kitchen, backyard, on the trail and just about anywhere. Learning how to "Stop the Bleed" can help save a life. "Stop the Bleed" is a national wound care education program taught locally by WMCHealth trauma care experts.
