#RodeoHistory: Patricia Kronebusch was the very first
#CloverdaleRodeo Queen, crowned in 1950 with a white Stetson.
The Rodeo Queen event went professional in 1958, with candidates representing local Horse and Agricultural Associations within three hours drive of Cloverdale.
Contestants were equestrian athletes between the ages of 16 and 19 who were judged on their horsemanship skills, riding ability, personality, cowgirl outfit, and the suitability of the horse and rider. Winners would then represent the Cloverdale Rodeo Association at other festivals and events throughout the year.
