"The West Goes Wilder" This was the slogan used in advertising for Cloverdale's very first Rodeo in 1945. The idea was originally conceived by Clarke Greenaway and Jack Shannon in 1944 after stopping to watch a rodeo performance in Kamloops, BC and quickly became a roaring success.
