Faculty Highlight: meet Magaly Suárez! Magaly Suárez is an exceptional dance professional with over 30 years of international experience. Born in Havana, Cuba, she graduated with honors with the titles of Dancer and Teacher from the Cuban National Ballet School in 1980. She discovered her passion for teaching very early in her life, and she was prepared to do so by the best teachers of the Cuban National Ballet School. Throughout her outstanding career, Ms. Suárez had the opportunity to teach for nineteen years at the Cuban National Ballet School and visit many countries, inspiring and touching the lives of many ballet students. She has formed and worked with excellent dancers, many of them currently holding principal and soloist positions in the finest US, European, and Latin American dance companies.
