Thalssophobia: fear of the ocean 🌊🥲 . When I was 7 years old… my parents took me snorkeling over a sunken ship in the Caribbean… I couldn’t open my eyes until I was back on the boat! I was terrified of what was under me and my anxious brain made up so many terrible thoughts. Ever since that day, I always feel similar panic when I’m in the ocean. Especially when I can’t touch the bottom and run out fast than a shark can get me 😂 I know, very irrational, but totally something I still deal with. . Although I can never feel “relaxed” in the ocean, I’m proud of getting out there in Greece with my family and trying my best 🥰🌊🫶 sorry I almost drowned you aidan_heslop LOL .
