***NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVORS DAY*** Today is National Cancer Survivors Day - a day to celebrate and honor the strength, courage, bravery and resiliency of so many cancer fighters and survivors. Being diagnosed with Cancer is more than surviving…it’s about LIVING! Life after cancer is not something you can prepare for. You are filled with gratitude and thankful to be alive, but it also leaves something behind that no one truly understands unless you’ve been through it. It’s a day to remember the battle and suffering you overcame. A day to remind yourself that you came out the other side. A firm reminder of how precious life is. Today, we honor those currently battling cancer, those who have survived cancer and the many loved ones who weren’t as fortunate. Cancer is a horrific disease…but it also gave us the option to choose life…so we choose to celebrate life today, tomorrow & all the days after.
