At the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), patient education specialists Carolyn Cutilli, PhD, RN, Andrea Blount, MPH, BSN, and Maureen Bonnell, MSN, are leading a wide-ranging assessment to help improve health literacy among patients and caregivers.
The assessment with review patient input, wayfinding, patient portal functionality, and cultural and language differences, to name a few.
