Dr. Kevin Sowti, medical director of Hospital Medicine and chief of Internal Medicine at cchosp, went into medicine to help people. That desire has compelled him to travel far beyond the hospital’s walls, too. A refugee himself during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s, Sowti recognized the pain and struggle of Ukranian families when Russia invaded earlier this year. He knew he had to help in some way.
