Through rain, sleet and snow our tireless and dedicated team spent #MLKDay vaccinating eager recipients in #WestPhiladelphia. The original plans were to vaccinate people at the James Rhoads School, but they wound up simultaneously running a second site at Overbrook High School. Dr. Amber-Nicole Bird, one of the event organizers, said that “despite the weather, we vaccinated 100 community members - including some individuals receiving their first vaccination!” Dr. Craig Wynne added that “You never get tired of seeing someone get their first vaccine dose.” Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to help keep our community safe. #PennTogether #DifferenceMakers #VaxUpPHL #VaxUpPhilly
