Catherine Francis organized an effort to send condolence cards to the families of COVID patients who died. Karen Sylvester implemented new ways for care teams to better communicate in Critical Care Units. Lisa Iozzo and Sandra Seiler invented the role of "dofficer" to help limit virus exposure and ensure PPE protocols were followed properly.
Aliza Narva led an effort to address ethics questions around caring for COVID patients and supporting staff as they faced stress-amplifying unknowns. Brynn Moore addressed pandemic supply shortages by restructuring appointment schedules.
