#MeetEmMonday: Less than a month from now, Cody Hennequin will take to the mound for his senior year as a member of the Purchase College baseball team. Over the last three seasons, Hennequin (Milford, CT) has established himself as the Panthers' ace. In year one, Cody appeared in 12 games (four starts) and finished with a 3-1 record. He recorded a 4.70 ERA and 28 strikeouts to just 13 walks over 38.1 innings pitched. His 28 strikeouts ranked second on the team, while his 38.1 innings pitched and 1.41 WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) ranked third. In 2019, Hennequin officially locked-in his status as the workhorse pitcher for Purchase and improved his numbers across the board. He easily led the team in innings pitched (67.2), strikeouts (47) appearances (15), games started (nine) and complete games (three).
