#MeetEmMonday: Mark Sergio is set to enter his fourth season as the head coach of the Purchase College softball team this spring. During his first two years, Sergio collected a 17-39 overall record, going 10-22 in Skyline Conference play. In his third season as head coach of the Panthers, the entire campaign was canceled before it began due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout Sergio's tenure as leader of the team, he has had one player (Kelly Hayes '19 in 2019) named to the All-Skyline Conference First Team and three members named to the All-Skyline Conference Second Team (Daniella Edelson '19 in 2018, Victoria Capone-Froio '19 in 2018 and Kelly Agostini in 2019.) Before being named head coach, Sergio served as the assistant coach for the softball team for two seasons (2016-17). During the two years, the Panthers finished 29-29 overall, 15-21 in Skyline games and made the Skyline Conference Playoffs both times. #PurchaseCollegeAthletics #PantherPride
