Launched in 1938, the Patek Philippe Ref. 1436 was produced as a precise “tool watch” for timing horse and automobile races, as well as scientific experiments. Considered one of the firm’s finest creations, it boasts a rattrapante chronograph mechanism encased within a compact 33-millimeter case. Of the 140 examples made, just 9 are known in the current pink-on-pink configuration. We are pleased to present this rare timepiece as a highlight of the Important Watches sale at #SothebysNewYork on 5 June. Discover more in our link in bio. Don’t forget, we’ve lowered our Buyer’s Premium to 20% on almost everything we sell. #SothebysWatches #PatekPhilippe #pinkonpink
