Being able to spend a week in what could be my favorite city feeding the homeless, helping less-fortunate children, bike riding until 1am, and getting to know everyone in my service group, it has been a great experience. It has really opened my eyes that Washington D.C isn't about the bright lights and eye-catching buildings. It's about the people that spend every day there.
