Our funding will help them expand their Maternal Mental Health Continuum; a first of its kind program for perinatal substance misuse, creating a better pathway for moms to get help when they need it. Did you know, in the United States, it is estimated that 1 in 7 women are impacted by perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs)? Additionally, black women experience PMADs at twice the rate of white women, yet are less likely to receive adequate care.
