Tuesday, September 7, 2021, started like every other day for Bill Law, facilities manager at Ruppert Landscape. A few minutes later, his life changed when a gas explosion occurred in the building he was working in. After spending six weeks at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Bill went to MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital for six more weeks of therapy. Out of gratitude for the care Bill received and for dedicated health care professionals who serve others in the greatest time of need, the Ruppert Family Foundation made a philanthropic gift to support trauma patients and families at MedStar Washington.
