Gary Coetzee began playing rugby at the age of five and competed semi-professionally for many years. After leaving the pro circuit, he continued to play recreationally and served as a youth coach with the Great Falls Youth Rugby Club. Then, in 2013, a freak accident left him unable to walk. But with the help of the therapists at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, he is now walking unassisted and back on the field as a coach.
