Alice is certainly orthopedic surgeon Dr. Evan Argintar’s most unusual patient. That’s because she’s a Stanley Crane who lives at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C. After Alice injured what would be her ankle in a human, the zoo’s vet tried all the usual treatments, but she continued to favor her leg.
