Each year, teams from our hospitals have proudly supported the American_Heart’s annual Heart Walk to celebrate the lives of heart attack and stroke survivors, promote exercise, and raise heart health awareness. This year, we are so proud that the AHA has named our own Bradley S. Chambers, president of MedStar Good Samaritan and MedStar Union Memorial Hospitals, and Senior Vice President, MedStar Health, chair of the 2021 Greater Maryland Heart Walk. The drive, he says, is beyond an urgency driven by the pandemic, and more than the cardiovascular challenges facing so many in our communities. It’s also quite personal.
