For multiple scheduling and “make it work” reasons, I decided to do the conservationflorida Wild Florida 5k virtually along the Jacksonville riverwalk. Eventually, thanks in large part to the work of groundworkjax, the river walk will be a segment of the Emerald Trail, a 30-mile trail system that will encircle our urban core and connect 14 historic neighborhoods to downtown. The project is active and in-progress right now. There are many ways to support.
