9/15/2019: I’ve spent way too much time today thinking intensely about what my 2019 post should be. I went on many adventures. I experienced incredible places. I discovered wild personal truths. I had the most difficult low point to date. My closest friendships somehow got even closer. How can I simplify that into a post? I can’t. However- there was this day. On this day, myself and many of those close friendships I love so much gathered into a room to share the progress we’d made with the longest running adventure of my lifetime, thegreyareafilm. We showed what we had been able to do. We explained what we wanted to do. We asked for help. The response was 30 days of crying, hugging, and laying on the floor in paralyzed excitement as 20k in contributions came in. Because of this day, the people who were in this room, and every person who said yes to helping us- The Grey Area will be officially a film in 2020.
